Flightview - Flight Tracker app good for

I live 15 minutes from the airport and have many friends and family visit me in Puerto Vallarta. This app allows me to leave when necessary with no time wasted sitting around waiting. Saves me parking costs as well. I can see where the flight is at any given time, when its landed and when its at the gate. It also tells me their origin temp as well as current temp here. GREAT app
I have been using this for about a year and found the layout and interface to be excellent. Very well designed and makes all relevant information accessible. I like how Notifications have been integrated.
More reliable then airport information and often updates much quicker and with more details!!!!
Ive been using this app for several years now - first on a Blackberry and now on iPhone 6. The info is fast, concise and far more accurate than the info on the arrival/departure screens at any given airport. This is by far the best app of its kind.
I dont often fly, but when I do, I fly with FlightView! Flight information is great, and the flight map adds fun. The only thing that could make it better [aka suggestion for developers!] would be the ability to edit "My Flights" history to group them properly if I didnt do it the way I wanted the first time.
As a customer service rep at Toronto pearson airport me and all my co workers and managers all use this app its help with gate changes that air canada fail to tell us about but this time for some reason gates arent showing up just terminals why is that flight view??

Some bad moments

Flight was landed and did not notice it, even 30minutes later with refreshing the app.
Well... Sometimes it does, but rather hit and miss. Gonna look for a better option elsewhere.
This app sent me a message that my flight was delayed. When I got to the airport on time for the time that was changed to I missed my flight and had to purchase tickets for a new flight the next day
They say that you can email itinerary and it will show up on your scheduled trips. But it doesnt work. If you read the fine print they call that a beta feature. Without that functionality app is useless as you have to enter everything manually.
Used it to track my wifes flight from Toronto to Calgary. Info was okay till the flight took off 45mins late then the info reverted to originally scheduled time indicating the plane was arriving on time. Absolutely inaccurate. The plane was actually now due an hour later than scheduled. App is too unreliable and I will not use it again.
The app doesnt keep up with flight changes. I received a change in flight times from my airline last week, today I installed this app and it still shows the old flight time! If you use this app, you WILL miss flights.
